Earthworks
Earthworks are engineering works created through the moving or processing of parts of the earth's surface involving quantities of soil or unformed rock. The earth may be moved to another location and formed into a desired shape for a purpose. Much of earthworks involves machine excavation and fill or backfill.
Typical earthworks include roads, car parks, railway beds, causeways. Other common earthworks are land grading to reconfigure the topography of a site, or to stabilize slopes.
Piling Works
A pile is a vertical structural element of a deep foundation, driven deep into the ground at the building site.
The deep insertion of these elements ensures a sturdier base for the construction project to take place. If a factory building didn’t have any structured base underneath – the building wouldn’t be standing for long. There is a lot of planning, measuring and hard labour involved. Piling is not a technique that we could all learn in a few hours time, it is a highly skilled job which is very important. You have to make sure the base is secure and the piling has been done correctly so that the building will be solid as rock.
Drainage System
The drainage system is an essential part of living in a city or urban area, as it reduces flood damage by carrying water away. Large amounts of water can build up quickly during heavy rain and storms, and without adequate drainage this flows towards low-lying land, causing flooding, damage and safety risks.
Concreting Works
Concrete is a composite material composed of aggregate bonded together with a fluid cement which hardens over time. It is suitable for concrete bases, warehouse and shed floors, post erection, walkways, steps, backfill, infill, general repair work and other non structural applications.

Wharf Upgrading Works
